in 1917, the Kimerling family was in the scrap business. In the 1930s Charles
Kimerling branched into the parts business while the other part of the family
continued in the scrap business. The parts business sold strictly new parts
and government surplus. In 1960, then in a new location in Birmingham where

today. The owner, Vic Feigelson, began buying used trucks, dismantling them,
finding the parts on the yard, rebuilding and selling them. He did this by
himself until he was able to bring in a couple of people to work with him. Currently, Kimerling
Truck Parts and Equipment employs thirty professional employees and
management, operating in over 100,000 square feet of office and warehouse
space and approximately 35 acres. The majority of our personnel have been
with us a minimum of 10 years, some as many as 35 years. Our knowledge and
